A new beer garden is coming to Jersey City, but this one promises to be completely different. Part Hong Kong dumpling house, part European beer garden — Baozi Brew blends both cultures and throws in some spectacular views of the New York skyline.
As first reported by Have A Night, Baozi Brew soft opened this past Sunday and will open Wednesdays through Sundays beginning this week. Located at the Liberty House Restaurant (76 Audrey Zapp Drive), the dim sum beer garden will also have outdoor movie nights every Sunday and Thursday night. Thursday nights will feature “your childhood favorites” (such as Veritgo, The Wizard of Oz, and Bringing Up Baby), whereas Sunday nights will feature classics from “your grandpappy’s era” (such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and The Goonies).
Food-wise, Baozi Brew’s menu consists of spring rolls, dumplings, and satay with prices ranging from $6 to $16. Beers start at $8 and cocktails range from $12 to $15.
