Now that you survived the Arctic weekend, here are some hot events to get you through the work week.

Dolya Cafe Ribbon Cutting (Monday)
Head over to 128 Newark Avenue to celebrate the official opening of Dolya Cafe. Mayor Fulop will be on hand for the ribbon cutting, which starts at 4pm. Afterwards, enjoy a sweet or savory blini or Belgian hot chocolate.

An Evening with the Mayors of Jersey City and Hoboken (Tuesday)
Hudson Pride Center and Garden State Equality are hosting an evening with Mayor Fulop and Hoboken’s Mayor Bhalla at Atlas Public House. The event is intended to celebrate the LGBTQ communities in both cities. All are welcome to attend.

Winter cocktail class at Liberty House Restaurant (Wednesday)
Learn to make your favorite winter cocktails at Liberty House’s Cozy Cocktail Class. Tickets are $45/pp and admission includes passed appetizers. The class runs from 7pm to 9pm.

New gluten free beers at Departed Soles (Friday)
Departed Soles is releasing two new gluten free beers today. For stout lovers, there’s the third iteration of the Rick-Rolled Oat Coffee Stout, which is joined by the new Bumper Hops IPA.

Indulge in bacon (Friday)
Love bacon? Get yourself to Zeppelin Hall for their annual Bacon Fest celebration. Executive chef Franco Robazetti has created an international bacon menu with 20 new bacon entrees such as Bacon Poutine (Canada), Bacon Pad Thai (Thailand), and Bacon Wrapped Yaki Mochi (Japan). Bacon Fest starts Friday, January 12 and runs through Sunday, February 4.
