Monday: Start your week on a healthy note with Stretch & Slurp — part yoga class, part smoothie making class. The event is a collaboration between Jersey City blog Growing in Jersey City and Hoboken-based yoga instructor Leah Boston. It’ll be held at Loosen Up JC for $30/pp.

Monday: Love paella? This is your final week to indulge in all things paella during Surf City’s Paella Fest. The waterfront bar is offering a special paella menu with 10 different styles of Spain’s national dish. Paella Fest ends Sunday, August 20.

Tuesday: Long Island City’s Transmitter Brewing will be at Third & Vine tonight for a beer and food tasting. Transmitter Brewing specializes in farmhouse ales, with a focus on French- and Belgian-style beers and barrel-aged sours.The dinner/tasting starts at 6pm and costs $35/pp.

Tuesday: A new food truck specializing in epic, Italian-style sandwiches will make its debut today at Exchange Place. Chubby’s will be open today for breakfast and lunch. You can check out their menu here.

Thursday: Midnight Market and the Liberty Science Center are teaming up for a special LSC After Dark: Boardwalk Edition. The event will bring beach-type activities — such as boardwalk games and boardwalk eats — straight to Jersey City. The party is also the official kickoff event for the 2017 Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door.

Thursday: New York house DJs Sleepy & Boo are back at Red at Raval for another night of house and underground vibes. Admission is free and the underground party kicks off at 9pm.

Thursday: Who doesn’t love an extended happy hour? Join Have A Night at the Brightside Tavern for the August edition of Extended Happy Hour Summer Series. The free event (an RSVP is required) includes food and drink specials with prices starting at just $3. The fun starts at 7pm and runs till 11pm.
