From the start of La Festa Italiana in the Village to Midnight Market’s food extravaganza debut at Magnolia Landing/JSQ β€” here are your top events for this week.

Tuesday: Liberty State Park’s free summer concert series continues tonight with The New York Exceptions. The show starts at 6:30pm in the gardens behind Liberty House restaurant.

Wednesday: Take a feel-good, Oscar-winning musical, throw in a gorgeous view of New York, and you have the perfect setting for a screening of La La Land at Newport Green. “Here’s to the ones who dream…”

Wednesday: Help raise funds for the Art House’s 17th season of visual and performing arts during Cocktails Under the Stars β€” a fundraiser taking place at the rooftop of Charles & Co. at 201 Montgomery. The event will include beer, cocktails, and small bites. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door.

Wednesday: From rice balls to zeppoles, La Festa Italiana is a block party loaded with Italian eats, music, and drinks. Located on Sixth Street between Monmouth and Brunwick, the fest is a Village tradition that dates back to 1902 when it launched as a street festival in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Rocco. Today, it’s a 5-day extravaganza that attracts people from all over New Jersey.

Friday: Journal Square is getting a taste of Midnight Market. Head to the newly renovated Magnolia Landing plaza for a foodie luau courtesy of Midnight Market. The rules are the same as always: It’s a $5 cover to enter and once inside all food and drink max out at $5. Vendors include Drunken Fruit, Ono Grinds Poke, Carmine’s Pizza Factory, Two Crepes, The Bearded One BBQ, and plenty more.
