Tuesday: What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a glass (or three) of wine. Mana Wine’s Tour de France will look at the wines, the language, the menus, and the labels of Jura, Alsace, and Savoie. On the 28th, Mana Wine and The Traveling Grape will hold a class/tasting on everything Syrah. —Mana Wine

Tuesday: Today is the last day to take advantage of The Liberty Humane Society’s “Give Love” special. All dogs over 40 pounds and all cats over 4 months of age will have adoption fees waived. —LHS

Wednesday: Jersey City Tech Meetup Presents — What’s Next in Hardware with Jessica Gonzalez, CEO of InCharged, and Wallace Santos, CEO of MAINGEAR. Held at Harborside Financial Center, the event will include networking, a fireside chat with the CEOs, Q&A session, and a happy hour.

Thursday: Zeppelin Hall is getting a jump start on Mardi Gras. From February 16 through February 28, executive chef Franco Robazetti will debut a New Orleans-inspired Cajun Fest menu. Special entrees will include a seafood gumbo, Nola crawfish boil, lobster bisque, and various po’ boys. —Ragin’ for Cajun Fest

Saturday/Sunday: Jersey Girls Food Tours and Have a Night JC have teamed up for a Booze ‘N’ Bites Tour of downtown Jersey City. The tour will include drinks, hands-on cocktail making, and small plates at Atlas, Orale, Mathews, and Talde. On Sunday, JGFT in collaboration with Sarah Ewing of Boss Chick Dance Workouts brings you a high-intensity, 1-hour dance class for women only at Hoboken’s SassyCap Dance N Fitness. Post-workout healthy bites will be provided by Bone In Food.—JGFT

Sunday: Mommy & Brie is Van Hook Cheese’s first family (and baby) friendly class. The event will pair unpasteurized cheeses and cured meats from around the world. Little ones are welcome, as are fathers, partners, and everyone else. All you need is an appetite and love of cheese. —Van Hook Cheese
