Choc-O-Pain’s second Hoboken cafe is prepping for its big debut. The French cafe gave its followers a quick look inside its new cafe, which it says is “soon to open.” Located in Hoboken’s Hudson Tea Building at 1500 Washington Street, this will be Choc-O-Pain’s fourth cafe following the opening of its Heights cafe this past fall. —Choc-O-Pain

Beignets coming to McGinley Square
Snapdragon — a new cafe by the owners of The Bike Hub — is expected to bring a taste of New Orleans to 190 Monticello Avenue. In addition to French Press-style coffee, Snapdragon will also specialize in beignets. They’re expected to open at the beginning of March. —JC Eats
Cafe Batata expands menu with rotating specials
Brazilian restaurant Cafe Batata has recently expanded its menu with seasonal specials. It’s currently offering Picanha — Brazilian sirloin cap steak. They’ve also added a breakfast skillet to their all-day brunch menu. —Cafe Batata
