The rumors were true. The former Bell + Gray restaurant at 8 Erie Street will soon be the new home to City 8 Korean BBQ & Bar. The new owners have put up a poster announcing their restaurant which is “coming soon.”
Previously, construction permits placed outside the Bell + Gray doors hinted that a Korean BBQ restaurant could be taking over the space since they detailed the installation of a new kitchen and BBQ table. Now that the news has been officially confirmed, comes the wait for more info and an opening date.
City 8 will be downtown’s first Korean BBQ restaurant and joins other Korean restaurants Ahri’s Kitchen and Kraverie, the latter which serves Korean fusion.
