Mark your calendars. Curry Up Now is celebrating the official grand opening of its first Hoboken restaurant with free food and half-off entrees. Located at 91 Washington Street (formerly Wok to Walk), the grand opening will take place Tuesday, February 25 at 11am.

“We’re thrilled to be introducing Curry Up Now’s innovative Indian menu to the Northeast region, and more specifically, the people in New Jersey and Hoboken,” said Curry Up Now’s New Jersey franchisee, Pritesh Benjamin via press release.

Curry Up Now was founded in 2009 by husband and wife team, Akash and Rana Kapoor. The fast-casual eatery offers dishes like its Tikka Masala Burrito and Sexy Fries alongside traditional items such as Kathi Rolls and Thali Platters.

The menu also includes Indian street food offerings like Pani Puri, Samosas, and Papdi Chaat, along with a “Street Snack Menu” that includes unique takes on Maggi Instant Ramen Noodles, Fried Ravioli, and Indian-Chinese Chicken Wings.

“The Hoboken restaurant opening is especially exciting for us, as it marks Curry Up Now’s debut on the East Coast,” said Kapoor. “Pritesh has been a great partner for us so far, and we are excited to continue growing with him as we open Hoboken, Newark, and at least three more restaurants across New Jersey,” said Kapoor.

The first 100 customers in line on February 25 will receive a free burrito or bowl. Everyone else will receive 50% off their entire meal for the rest of the day.
