**More affordable housing could be coming to downtown. A new proposal could require that all tax-abated downtown properties include 20 percent affordable housing. In addition, developers seeking tax abatements would be forced to pay an extra fee that would go to the public-school district. The measures will be voted on this Wednesday. —NJ.com
