**The new World Trade Center Transportation Hub, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, will feature a retractable skylight that will open up every year on September 11th for 102 minutes, which was the duration of the 9/11 attacks. The skylight forms part of the Oculus Pavilion, the section of the hub that looks like a fishbone/ribs/bird skeleton. —Curbed via NYT
