**Two of Jersey City’s best cocktail barsDullboy and The Archer — were featured in the Village Voice recently. Located in the former Park & Sixth space, Dullboy was named one of the 10 Best New Bars in NYC. “Bartenders Gabriel Reiben and Grant Wheeler execute a menu of original libations like the mezcal Alejandra, packed with the earthiness of achiote syrup and chocolate bitters,” writes the Village Voice. Meanwhile, The Archer’s superb cocktail menu — created by Dutch Kills bartender and Jersey City native Natalie Jacob (pictured above) — is featured in a separate story that focuses solely on The Archer. “People are more receptive to different things in Jersey City — hence our menu,” says The Archer co-owner Jesse Weeks. “I don’t think what we’re doing would fly in Hoboken, but here people are more edgy, more experimental.” —Village Voice 10 Best Bars, Village Voice The Archer

The towers would be part of the department store’s latest effort to tap into the value of its physical retail locations. The towers would be used as offices or hotel rooms.
