**The Jersey Journal recently interviewed the team behind Jersey City’s South House restaurant. A Texas native, owner David Hohensee wants people to hang out and “just enjoy themselves,” whereas sister Stephanie Villarreal-Farid, the restaurant’s creative director, says the restaurant’s decor was inspired by their Southern and Spanish roots. Already, there are plans for a downstairs rec room and a music/concert venue inside the restaurant. I shared my initial thoughts here and on my last visit, the restaurant had already matured with faster service and a full dining and dessert menu. —Jersey Journal
