**The 200-year old Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery held its first ever wedding ceremony last week. Deivis and Rocio Garcia both met at the Newark Avenue cemetery where they volunteer to restore and preserve it. —

**An anonymous donor has given $45k to Jersey City’s American Red Cross with the intention of sponsoring swimming classes for 750 children, in addition to providing lifeguard and swim instructor training. [As an avid swimmer, I can say it’s an awesome idea to teach young kids to swim.] —SwimSwam
