**While Jersey City still waits for its very first Whole Foods (or Trader Joe’s), officials have broken ground on Newark’s Whole Foods project. The 29,000-square-foot store will sit in the heart of the city’s downtown district inside the historic Hahne building. Whole Foods estimates it’ll open sometime next year.–

**A Newport Mall security guard has been charged with allegedly handcuffing an underage girl to a stairwell banister inside the mall and assaulting her. —

**Get ready for an influx of food trucks because all 51 food truck licenses that the city put up for grabs earlier this week have been claimed. Of the 51 licenses, 15 were claimed by companies looking to open a second truck/location. A city spokesperson said more licenses could become available this later summer. —
