In the News: Newport Beach Fest, 2015 Hudson Restaurant Week Preview

**The 13th annual Newport Beach Party and Food Festival will take place Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 pm at Newport Green at 700 Washington Boulevard. The festival will feature 8,000 sq. ft of sand with live music and food from local restaurants Battello, Loradella’s, Raaz, Komegashi Too, and Cosi. —

**Kool & The Gang, known for hits like “Ladies Night” and “Celebration,” are being inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame for their decades-long career in the music industry. The Jersey City natives will be honored on October 22nd in the Asbury Park Convention Hall alongside New Jersey natives Derek Jeter and Jon Stewart. —NJ Hall of Fame

**A downtown Jersey City resident went on a vandalism spree Tuesday morning near City Hall bashing in the windows of four parked cars, one of which belonged to Jersey City Councilman, Daniel Rivera. The suspect was arrested in the lobby of his apartment complex. —
