**The 13th annual Newport Beach Party and Food Festival will take place Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 pm at Newport Green at 700 Washington Boulevard. The festival will feature 8,000 sq. ft of sand with live music and food from local restaurants Battello, Loradella’s, Raaz, Komegashi Too, and Cosi. —NJ.com

**Kool & The Gang, known for hits like “Ladies Night” and “Celebration,” are being inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame for their decades-long career in the music industry.
