**Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, the Path WTC platform now has air conditioning! The AC kicked in on Friday and has been maintaining the otherwise hot-as-Hades platform/waiting area nice and cool. That makes this the only Path station with air conditioning.

**Cops across the country are getting a bad rap because of the irresponsible actions of a few, so here’s a story to counter all the negativity. Jersey City Officer Charlie Casserly, who has spent 40 years on the force, was approached by a local teenager who was having trouble properly tying his tie. So officer Casserly did what he thought was right — he spent close to half an hour teaching the young teen how to properly knot a tie. Officer Casserly is now retired, but he’s proof that communities and the police can get along. —NJ.com
