**Bucket & Bay Gelato is Jersey City’s best new dessert shop hands down. This Friday the gelato shop will celebrate its official grand opening from 5pm till 7.30pm at 150 Bay Street just off Marin Boulevard. There will be live music by Kiwi, Argentinean empanadas by Gaby’s Kitchen, and of course plenty of geltao. (Get the black label vanilla. Trust me.) —Bucket & Bay

**Friday marks the start of St. Anthony’s Food Festival over on 6th Street between Brunswick and Monmouth. The festival runs throughout this weekend from 5pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and from 12pm till 10pm on Sunday. Foodies can gorge on Polish, Italian, Spanish, and Philippine food.
