**The Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic is returning to Jersey City’s Liberty State Park Saturday morning. Although general admission tickets are sold out, Rosé Garden tickets ($500 per person) are still available (if you roll that way). The event starts at 11am and goes through 5pm. —Veuve Cliquot

**Friendly reminder: this weekend is the Liberty Humane Society’s free adoption event. Cats and dogs over four months of age qualify for a $0 adoption fee. The adoption event runs from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. —LHS

**A Hudson County judge has ended the city’s efforts to take over the 85-year old Lowe’s Theatre in JSQ by ruling that the local non-profit organization, Friends of the Lowe’s (FOL), holds a valid lease to run the Lowe’s Theatre through 2020. Previously, the city wanted to hand control of the theatre to AEG Live, which had promised to bring “top talent” to the JSQ movie palace.
