One of New York City’s most recognized, eco-friendly salad chains is opening its first shop in New Jersey today. Just Salad is launching a new salad shop at 525 Washington Boulevard, on the 2nd floor of the Newport Tower.
Just Salad specializes in build-your-own salads and wraps made with locally-sourced ingredients. The chain uses grass-fed free range beef, antibiotic-free chicken, sustainable seafood, and organic tofu in all of its salads. Its menu also rotates quarterly with in-season soup and salad specials.
Frequent customers can also purchase $1 reusable bowls and get special add-ons each time they bring their bowl.
The Newport location will open at 4pm today with a special opening ceremony by Mayor Fulop. —Just Salad
