Amazon HQ coming to Jersey City?
Could Jersey City be the new home of Amazon’s second headquarters? Newark, Camden, New Brunswick, and Jersey City have made it to round two in Amazon’s search for a second HQ. It’s expected that the new HQ will  bring as many as 50,000 jobs and $5 billion in spending to the area. No word on whether the winning city will get its own pair of balls. —NJ.com

Whole Foods prices still too damn high
Speaking of Amazon — The Washington Post reports that Whole Food prices have dropped only about 1% since Amazon’s takeover. A research firm tracked 110 items over five weeks at the Princeton, NJ, Whole Foods and discovered that of the 110 items — prices decreased for 17 items and increased for 16 items. Pricing on 70% of the items remained the same. —Wapo
