The countdown to 2016 has commenced. Say farewell to 2015 in style at one of these downtown events. (Or check out our previous list of events here).

The Archer: Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Jersey City’s hippest new bar, The Archer. Doors open at 5pm. No reservations required, but it will be a first come, first served basis.

Dullboy: Thursday night is tiki night at Dullboy, and New Year’s Eve is no exception. The bar will be open regular hours with tiki drinks, Hawaiian shirts, and special holiday cocktails.

Roman Nose: Ok, so Roman Nose does require a reservation, but dinner openings run from 5pm till final seating at 9.30pm. Plus, receive a free Prosecco with your meal.

Third & Vine: The team behind Third & Vine will have various specials for New Year’s Eve including oysters, steak tartare, sparkling Kiralyudvar by the glass, and a Prosecco toast at midnight. Plus, don’t forget about the lovely wine and cheese. No reservations required.

Whealth: The team behind Whealth is hosting a Chef’s Table Pop-Up Dinner at 357 Third Street on New Year’s Eve. The BYOB event costs $75 pp and includes hor d’ourves and a 5-course dinner (scroll down to check out the full menu). Reservations are required.

Zeppelin Hall Biergarten: The Biergarten will feature a live DJ, dancing, and complimentary noisemakers/hats. There is no cover charge, but it’s recommended you arrive early if you want to snag a table.
