Monday: Mardi Gras may be over in New Orleans, but the food fest continues in Jersey City. By popular demand, Zeppelin Hall will continue its New Orleans-inspired seafood menu through March 12.

Tuesday: Marketplace JC is back at the Harborside Atrium with a variety of returning and new vendors. Among them you’ll find Al Richard’s Fine Chocolates, Penelope Traveling Boutique, Outer Limits Hot Sauce, Taproot Organics, and more. The market is open to everyone and runs every Tuesday from 11am to 3pm.

Tuesday: PS Wine Bar is pitting two wine giants against each other. France vs. Italy will include tastings of 4 Italian wines, 4 French wines, and 8 types of cheeses and bread. The event will be led by Lourdes Arena (curator of The Traveling Grape and import manager at Baron Francois Wine) and Chris Leo (wine sommelier of PS Wine Bar and owner of the Maritime Republic Natural Wine Importers).

Wednesday: The Jazz at the Harborside series continues today with a free performance by the Jerome Jennings Group from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Thursday: Jersey Wine & Spirits has teamed up with the owners of Filibuster for a whiskey tasting that looks at the different styles of American whiskey: Bourbon, Rye, and a blended Whiskey. Tickets are $25 pp.

Thursday: Chocolate lovers rejoice. The next gelato-making class at Bucket & Bay Craft Gelato will be dedicated to all things chocolate. Tickets are $95/pp and the class runs from 7.30pm to 10pm. It includes a generous amount of aperitifs, local foods, and of course, gelato.

Saturday: The 2017 Chili Cook-Off and Mac & Cheese Showdown kicks off this Saturday at Cathedral Hall. Tickets start at $10 (adults) and attendees have the option of upgrading their ticket to include a curated beer tasting by The Thirsty Quaker ($30/pp). [This is actually on May 13, not this Saturday. Thanks to everyone who caught the mistake!]
