**SoHo West — the neighborhood where Jersey City and Hoboken meet — is expected to shine next year. Jersey Digs reports that a variety of projects are planned for the area, most notably 305 Coles Street, which is designed by Uruguayan starchitect, Rafael Viñoly, responsible for New York’s 432 Park Avenue — the tallest residential tower in the western hemisphere. 305 Coles will consist of three towers, with the tallest tower standing 23 stories. It will also include a park and pedestrian plaza. Joining 305 Coles will be Van Leer Place, which will include 568 apartments over two low-rise buildings. —Jersey Digs

**Jersey City has made it to Curbed’s final four in the 2016 Curbed Cup Contest. Voting will resume Tuesday as Jersey City takes on Prospect Heights. (I’d personally love to see a JC vs. FiDi final). —Curbed
