**The Jersey City Free Public Library is teaming up with hoopla digital to give library card holders access to digital music, books, movies, and TV shows. Among the available digital titles are The Walking Dead comics, The Best of Bowie (music), and The Assassin (movie). Last month the library announced a partnership with Zinio giving users access to dozens of mainstream magazines like National Geographic, Men’s Fitness, and Cosmopolitan. —

**A new study conducted by the NY/NJ Baykeeper estimates that there are at least 165 million plastic particles floating in the waters around New York City at any given time.
