Neighborhood News: Free Adoptions at Liberty Humane Society, Madame Claude Bis Opens Today

**The Liberty Humane Society is kicking off the month with a promo good enough to make your tail wag. For the entire month of June, adoption fees — which range from $120 to $225 — will be waived for all qualifying adopters. The promo applies to cats that are 4 months and older and dogs over 40 lbs. **Real estate site Trulia has mapped out the rise of million-dollar homes across the U.S. since 2012. While they don’t provide numbers for New Jersey (I reached out and they said they didn’t include NJ in this study), looking at their New York metro map you can still see a lot of million-dollar homes spreading throughout downtown Jersey City and Hoboken. —Trulia via Gothamist
