**Take this with a huge grain of salt, but rumor has it that Stephen Starr — of Buddakan and Morimoto fame — has his eye on the former Bell & Gray space. It’s a pretty wild rumor, but considering all the attention downtown has been getting, you never know. —JCList

**After about 5 months in operation, cocktail bar The Draper has closed its doors and is up for sale. Rumors of the gastropub/cocktail bar’s demise started spreading last week, but now a Trulia listing of the venue pretty much confirms the news. No word on who will operate the space next. —Jersey City Eats

**Ward E Councilwoman Candice Osborne has spoken out regarding the PATH’s impending weekend service suspension. Per the Jersey City Independent, Osborne says “They did everything we asked.” She’s of course referring to the winter of 2014 when the Port Authority gave residents an 8-day notice of the closure of the WTC line on weekends. —JCI

**The museum at the base of the Statue of Liberty is getting an overhaul. The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation and the National Park Service are teaming up for the effort, which calls for erecting a new building that would increase exhibition space more than eightfold, to 15,000 square feet. The venture is being privately funded and backed by philanthropist Diane von Furstenberg.—WSJ
