**Holy Rosary Church’s annual La Festa Italiana kicks off this Wednesday. Located on Sixth Street between Brunswick and Monmouth, the festival began in 1902 as a street fair in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Rocco. Years later, it’s still being celebrated in Jersey City’s Village neighborhood. The 5-night food and music fest runs daily from 5pm till 11pm and from 3pm till 11pm on the weekend. —La Festa Italiana
