Neighborhood News: Restaurant Week Begins, Cheese, Whiskey, and Malbec Tastings

**Hudson Restaurant Week has arrived. Starting today various restaurants in Hudson County will offer discounted lunch and/or dinner menus. New participating restaurants in the immediate area include The Hutton (Heights), South House (Downtown), Halifax (Hoboken), and Havana Cafe (Hoboken). Other Restaurant Week staples include GP’s Hamilton Park, The Kitchen Step, and Raval. Restaurant Week ends next Friday, February 3. **The Traveling Grape (aka Lourdes Arena) is hosting a Malbec tasting at Mana Wine Cafe on Tuesday at 7pm. The event ($50/pp) will include six different tastings alongside samplings of wagyu and dry/wet aged styles of beef provided by DeBragga & Spitler. —Mana Wine

**Jersey Wine & Spirits is teaming up with Van Hook Cheese for an evening of whiskey and cheese tasting. The event will take place at Jersey Wine & Spirits this Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. —Whiskey & Cheese Tasting Event

**The lunch scene at Harborside keeps getting better. Mack-Cali and Riverview Jazz have teamed up to provide monthly lunchtime jazz performances at the Harborside Atrium.
