**Time Out New York has created a list of the top eight restaurants in Jersey City. Included in the list are Fire & Oak, Battello, Dullboy, Liberty House Restaurant, and Skiner’s Loft — the latter which takes the top spot on the list. —Time Out New York

**Actress Amy Schumer will be at the WORD bookstore on Newark Avenue to promote her latest book “The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.” The book signing event will take place on Wednesday, August 17 at 7pm. Tickets for the event are not yet on sale, but you can RSVP via Facebook. —WORD

**CitiBike Jersey City has unveiled the locations of 15 new CitiBike stations. The downtown locations will be: Sixth Street and Monmouth, Sixth Street and Jersey Avenue, Brunswick and Seventh Streets, Third Street and Jersey Avenue, Second and Grove Street, Columbus Drive and Monmouth Street, Columbus Drive and Warren Street, and at the Marin Boulevard light-rail station. —NJ.com

**Amazon continues gobbling up warehouses in New Jersey. NJBiz reports that the Seattle-based giant recently signed a lease on a 619,000 square foot warehouse in Teterboro. The warehouse is located less than 10 miles from the New York City metropolitan area and should help your Amazon orders arrive even faster than they do now. —NJBiz

**Seventeen ferry passengers were injured this Saturday when a NY Waterway ferry made a “hard landing” at the Paulus Hook ferry terminal at about 7.15pm. NJ.com reports that all passengers have been treated and released from Jersey City Medial. —ABC7

**City officials in New York are angry with the Port Authority’s recent design competition, which looks to give the dilapidated Bus Terminal on 42nd Street a much-needed facelift. Officials call the plan “premature” and “outrageous” given that the project doesn’t take into consideration other infrastructure projects in the neighborhood. —Curbed
