One of New Jersey’s best Italian restaurants is coming to downtown.
Rutherford’s Paisano’s Restaurant recently announced that it’s taking over the former Park & Sixth location at 279 Grove Street.
The restaurant, which has been an institution in Rutherford for over 40 years, was recently named one of the Garden State’s best Italian restaurants for being the “Italian restaurant version of a Jersey diner.”
Paisano’s specializes in food from both northern and southern Italy with dishes such as Spinach Gnocchi, Fettuccine Mountain & Sea, Crabmeat Ravioli, and Seafood Malafemina. Their Rutherford-based restaurant also serves classics like chicken parm and shrimp scampi.
We reached out to Paisano’s for an opening date, but as they just signed their lease with Silverman last week — they have no official timeline. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
