Prato Bakery finds new home on Fourth Street
Signage has gone up at Prato Bakery’s new home. The Tuscan bakery is moving from its current Erie Street location to 371 Fourth Street (just off Newark Avenue and steps away from Madame Claude Bis). An opening date has not been set yet.
Holiday freebies at Bucket & Bay
Craft gelato shop Bucket & Bay is offering 12 Days of Christmas specials throughout the month of December. There’s a new special each day. So far they’ve given free cones, free cookies, and 1/2-off discounts on their pumpkin spice latte. You can follow them on Instagram to find out each day’s new special. On a side note, Bucket & Bay is also hosting a gelato-making masterclass this Thursday.
Port Authority doubles down on Newark Airport
The PA has approved an additional $750 million in funding to help improve Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport. This comes on the heels of the PA’s plans to expand PATH train service directly to Newark Airport. —NJBiz
Light Rail could expand to Route 440
