Coffee aficionados have a new option in town as Short Grain Cafe has officially opened its doors to the public. Based on the site’s Facebook page, it looks like they’ll be offering an all-day brunch menu, which will include entrees such as avocado toast, roasted cauliflower, and lemon ricotta hotcakes (to name a few). Naturally, there will also be plenty of coffee and pastries available as well. I swung by late this afternoon, but the place was already closed. Inside looked nice and cozy though — a clean, modern design. It’ll definitely be a nice alternative to Beechwood and Modcup.
