Sub Culture Sandwich and Sub Shop Coming to Village

The Village has gotten a lot of love this past year. Whether you’re into organic juices, poké bowls, or just looking for creative ways to stay fit — there’s been an abundance of new businesses setting up shop through the neighborhood. Now there’s a new lunch spot scheduled to open soon.

Located at 260 Newark Avenue (between Monmouth and 2nd Street), Sub Culture is a new restaurant focusing on all things sub and sandwich related. Workers have been adding a few finishing touches to the outside of the storefront, which for the past few weeks has remained hidden under a cool pop culture wallpaper that displays iconic TV characters from Good Times’ J.J. to Stranger Things’ Dustin. (Could there be a “Kid Dy-no-mite” or “Eleven” sub in our future?!)

Sub Culture doesn’t have a precise opening date set, but we were told it’s likely they’ll “open soon.” We’ll add more details as we learn them.
