Where: Transmission at 150 Bay Street
Friday night is Sound & Vision night at Transmission — a night where guest DJs play the best in classic ’90s Britpop, New Wave, ’80s alternative, indie, synthpop, Manchester, and more. Admission is free before 11pm.

What: Cajun Fest at Zeppelin Hall

Where: Zepplin Hall at 88 Liberty View Drive
Take a culinary trip down south during Zeppelin Hall’s Cajun Food Festival. Twelve New Orleans-style dishes have been added to the biergarten’s regular menu (oyster po’ boy pictured above), plus enjoy live country music and extended happy hour specials. What: Whealth 5K Harborside Run/Walk
When: Saturday, February 18 at 10am
Where: Whealth Cafe at Harborside
Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and Jesse Barton of CKO Kickboxing. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal at the Whealth Harborside Cafe.

Jersey Girls Food Tours and Have a Night JC have teamed up for a Booze ‘N’ Bites Tour of downtown Jersey City. The tour will include drinks, hands-on cocktail making, and small plates at Atlas, Orale, Mathews, and Talde.

When: Sunday, February 19 frpm 1pm – 3pm
Where: SassyCap Dance N Fitness in Hoboken
Skip your Sunday brunch plans for a 1-hour sweat session with JGFT and Sarah Ewing of Boss Chick Dance Workouts. The duo are holding a high-intensity, 1-hour dance class for women at Hoboken’s SassyCap Dance N Fitness. Post-workout healthy bites will be provided by Bone In Food.
