What: CoolVines Around the World
When: Friday, March 10 from 6pm to 8pm
Where: CoolVines Jersey City at 276 Grove Street
CoolVines continues its new “CoolVines Around the World” tasting series with samples of wines from every corner of the world. This casual/informal tasting kicks off at 6pm at the shop. The event is free for everyone.

What: Liberty Humane Society Yappy Hour
When: Friday, March 10 from 7pm to 9pm
Where: The Ale House Hoboken at 1034 Willow Avenue
Kick off happy hour with your favorite drink and your best four-legged friends. The Liberty Humane Society is hosting a “Yappy Hour” at the Ale House in Hoboken. Everyone is welcome (including your four-legged friends) and all proceeds and donations will benefit the Liberty Humane Society.

What: Zeppelin Hall Band Camp
When: Friday, March 10 at 9pm
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Zeppelin Hall Band Camp is a throwback music festival with live cover bands playing the best music of the 80s and 90s. The biergarten will also offer a Midnight Happy Hour from 12am to 2am. Meanwhile, Sunday, March 12 will be the last day to enjoy chef Franco Robazetti‘s New Orleans-inspired Cajun Fest menu.

What: Whealth 5K Harborside Run/Walk
When: Saturday, March 4 at 10am
Where: Whealth Cafe at Harborside
Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and Jesse Barton of CKO Kickboxing. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal at the Whealth Harborside Cafe.

What: SuperWoman Opening Reception at 107 Bowers Gallery
When: Saturday, March 11 from 3pm to 8pm
Where: 107 Bowers Street
SuperWoman is an art exhibition that celebrates the strong women that have influenced — and continue to influence — our lives. The exhibit includes work from over 30 artists. SuperWoman will be open to the public Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm through April 29. Due to demand, this weekend the opening reception will start at 3pm.

What: Dirty Paki Lingerie at Merseles Studio
When: Saturday, March 11 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Where: Merseles Studio 339 Newark Avenue
Dirty Paki Lingerie is a one-woman show that the Wall Street Journal says aims to break down the stereotype of Muslim women in America. The play has been performed internationally by its creator, Aizzah Fatima, and will debut in Jersey City this Saturday. Tickets are $25 pp and doors open at 7pm.

What: 1st Annual Pig Out at Amada
When: Sunday, March 13 from 1pm
Where: Amada at Brookfield Place / WTC
Iron Chef Jose Garces is celebrating Amada NYC’s first annual Pig Out. Enjoy unlimited suckling pig roast with special sides and drinks. Seatings are available at 1pm, 4pm, or 7pm. Amada is located at Brookfield Place inside the Winter Garden.
