The World Dog Expo is a 3-day event dedicated to our four-legged friends. It includes dog competitions, seminars, vendor booths, and tons more. General admission tickets start at $14.95 (kids enter free).

What: Midnight Market Jersey City
When: Friday, June 9 from 6:30pm – 11:59pm
Where: 147 Harborside Financial
Midnight Market returns for another night of music, food, and booze. Making a special appearance at this week’s party is Food Network Chopped champion, Lee Knoeppel. Midnight Market co-creator Alysis Vazquez duked it out against Knoeppel during Season 31 of Chopped and the two friends will be reunited at this month’s foodie binge. Knoeppel will make this Thai green curry dish for the event. Also keep an eye out for Swank Rolls (pictured above), who’ll be making their Midnight Market debut.

What: Whealth 5K Harborside Run/Walk
When: Saturday, June 10 at 10am
Where: Whealth Cafe at Harborside
Start the weekend with a gorgeous 5K run (or walk) along the Jersey City waterfront, led by avid runners David Trotta of Whealth and trainer/model Jesse Barton. The casual run is open to all fitness levels and is followed by a quick cool down/meditation session and a healthy meal at the Whealth Harborside Cafe.

From live music to delicious eats, the Hamilton Park Festival is a family-friendly party celebrating all the things we love about Hamilton Park. The fest will include fitness demos, a petting zoo for kids, a beer truck, and more.

Where: Riverview Fisk Park
The Riverview Jazz Festival is coming to a close, but first — a grand finale. There will be stunning views of the skyline, food trucks, activities for children, a beer garden, and of course, excellent live music.

What: Thirsty Quaker 3rd Anniversary BBQ
When: Sunday, June 11 from 2pm – 8pm
Where: The Thirsty Quaker at 492 Monmouth Street
The Thirsty Quaker is celebrating three years in downtown Jersey City with a neighborhood BBQ and everyone is invited. There will be homemade beer, homemade sangria, table games, hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers.

Where: Liberty State Park Terminal Building at 1 Audrey Zapp Drive
Unique Photo — one of NJ’s oldest & largest camera stores — is celebrating its 70th anniversary with NJ Photowalk, an opportunity for photographers of all skill levels to gather, photograph, and share pictures while supporting a good cause, Team Fox for Parkinson’s Research. Registration is $10/pp. Don’t have a camera? There will be reps from Canon, Nikon, and Panasonic with loaner gear.

What: Hoboken Arts & Music Festival
When: Sunday, June 11 from 11am – 6pm
Where: Washington Street btwn 8th & 14th
The Hoboken Arts & Music Fest is an all-day street fair with live music, children’s activities, tribute bands, and tons of food. There will be paintings and photography on sale in addition to other arts and crafts. The outdoor event stretches from 8th street to 14th street on Washington street.
