Holiday shopping is in full swing this weekend with pop-up shops at &co and 107 Bowers Gallery. Plus, check out the numerous new vendors at Midnight Market and partake in a Santa Run/Brunch with Whealth — we present our top picks for what to see, eat, and do in Jersey City this weekend.

What: Art Mini-Market at 107 Bowers Gallery & ArtSpace
When: Friday, December 9 from 6pm – 10pm; Saturday/Sunday 11am – 4pm
Where: 107 Bowers Street
107 Bowers Gallery & ArtSpace will host a mini-market of art showcasing over 100 works of original art including paintings, prints, photographs, collages, and drawings from over 40 artists. The artwork will be hung on the walls and anything you buy can be taken home immediately. The pop-up will debut today from 6pm – 10pm and will be open for the next two weekends from 11am – 4pm.

What: Midnight Market at Harborside
When: Friday, December 9 from 6.30pm – 12am
Where: Harborside Plaza 3
Jersey City’s after hours food market is back and improved. In addition to a new optional VIP foodie hour (6.30pm – 7.30pm; $20/pp), the market will also include three bars from Hamilton Pork and new vendors like Boil Boil Ramen, Taiwanese food from Brooklyn’s Win Son, and Filipino food from Sigsig City. Tickets are $5.25 per person and all menu items (and cocktails) max out at $5.

What: Holiday Pop-Up Shop at &co
When: Friday, December 9 at 4pm; Saturday, December 10 from 10am – 4pm
Where: &co at 201 Montgomery Street (2nd Floor)
&co’s spacious 2nd floor lounge will be transformed into a Holiday Pop-Up Shop dedicated to EIGHTY mag’s upcoming Style & Design issue. The shop will feature a curated selection of products by local makers and artists ranging from leather goods, house & kitchen, and jewelry. Friday evening is the sneak preview for &co members only and Saturday the pop-up shop will be open to the public. It will run through December 16 from 8am to 9pm.

What: Zeppelin Hall Pretzel Month
When: Friday, December 9
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Starting this Friday, the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten is adding 14 delicious pretzel entrees to its menu including a German Pretzel Burger, Pretzel Grilled Cheese Trio, Churro Pretzel Bits, and Nutella Pretzel Bites.

What: JC Families Holiday Party
When: Saturday, December 10 from 11am – 2pm
Where: Cathedral Hall
Celebrate JC Families’ Annual Holiday Party at Cathedral Hall this weekend. The DJ dance party will include pictures with Santa, a kid’s runway show, holiday arts and crafts, and more. Tickets are $20 per person.

What: Bambino Chef Gingerbread House Decorating
When: Saturday, December 10 from 5.30pm – 6pm; Sunday, December 11 from 11.30am – 12.30pm
Where: Bambino Chef at 213 Newark Avenue
Bambino Chef will host a series two gingerbread house decorating events this weekend. Each class is one hour and costs $45 per child. Online registration is required.

What: Whealth Santa Run & Brunch
When: Sunday, December 11 at 10am
Where: Harborside Esplanade (by Henry’s on the Hudson)
This weekend’s Harborside run will be held on Sunday and it will be followed by brunch at the newly opened Whealth Cafe at Harborside. The run and brunch are complimentary, but Whealth asks that you donate new or gently worn clothes, which will benefit FeedJC.

What: Champagne Dinner at Halifax
When: Monday, December 12 at 7pm
Where: Halifax at the W Hotel Hoboken at 225 River Street
Ruinart was the first established champagne house back in 1729. Now Ruinart and the W Hotel’s Halifax restaurant — specializing in farm and coastal inspired fare — are teaming up for a special champagne dinner. Guests will experience four different offerings from Ruinart paired with Halifax’s Chef Seadon Shouse’s creative fare, much of which is inspired by his Nova Scotia upbringing. A Ruinart brand ambassador will also be on hand to discuss the pairings. Tickets are $75 per person and reservations are required.
