Friday night has arrived and that means one thing — it’s time for a family-style dinner at the Whealth Cafe. The 3-course prix fixe dinner costs $45/pp (BYOB) with seatings at 6pm and 8pm. The theme of tonight’s dinner is Indian Summer. Check out their site for the full menu.

What: Oktoberfest at Departed Soles

Where: 150 Bay Street
Departed Soles is kicking off Oktoberfest with the launch of a new beer — Helles Island. The beer is described as having a “traditional lager aroma, with no sulfur or diacetyl, a subtle spice — but no bitterness — from the Polish Hops, and a pleasantly dry maltiness.” You’ll be able to get the beer in limited edition, first-come-first-served 1-liter steins. DS will also release Kimberly, its new Milkshake IPA.

What: Oktoberfest at the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten
When: Friday, September 29 through October 15
Where: 88 Liberty View Drive
Celebrate Oktoberfest Jersey City style at the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten. The biergarten will launch a new German-inspired menu for the celebration with dishes such as Saurerkraut and Sausage Soup, Schweinebraten (roasted pork), and Schweinshaxe (roasted ham hock). Plus, there will be live German bands playing Thursdays through Saturday nights.

What: Sail for a Cause at North Cove Sailing
When: Saturday, September 30 from 1pm to 5pm
Where: North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place New York
North Cove Sailing is letting you sail for free when you make a donation to their Hurricane Irma Relief Fund. You’ll sail on a fleet of donated Colgate 26s and J24s in New York Harbor and gather at Brookfield Place to show your support and contribute to the relief efforts. One hundred percent of donations will go to the charity partners listed on their page. Plus, enjoy happy hour at Le Bar at Le District and 10% of your bill will be donated to the cause.
