What: 3rd Annual TEDx Jersey City
When: Saturday, November 14th from 12pm till 8pm
Where: Loew’s Theatre
TEDx Jersey City is back for its 3rd annual conference. Held at the Loew’s Theatre in Journal Square, the speaker line up includes award winning author and world renowned physicist Leonard Mlodinow, CNN Hero and Blinknow founder Maggie Doyne, and Cooking Channel host Justin Fornal, among others. You can learn more about the speakers and performances via the event’s Facebook page. General admission tickets cost $25. An after-party is scheduled for 8pm at Miss Wong’s located inside Talde.

What: 3rd Annual Fall Craft Beer Festival to Benefit Liberty Humane Society
When: Saturday, November 14th from 1pm till 5pm
Where: Hoboken Elks Club at 1005 Washington St.
The 3rd Annual Fall Craft Beer Fest will take place at the Hoboken Elks Club this Saturday with proceeds going to the Jersey City-based Liberty Humane Society. A suggested donation of $30 will buy you an advance ticket, otherwise tickets are $35 at the door. (This price includes brews and food). There will also be a homemade pie-tasting competition (anyone is free to enter), a 50/50 raffle, and music.

What: Jersey City Youth Foundation Gala
When: Saturday, November 14th from 7pm till 11pm
Where: Liberty Prime Steakhouse at 111 Montgomery St.
The 2nd Annual Jersey City Youth Foundation Gala will be held this weekend at the Liberty Prime Steakhouse. The JCYF is a public charity committed to enhancing community enrichment and youth development throughout the city and this gala serves as a chance to celebrate the organization’s work and supporters. Tickets cost $150 for one person or $250 for two.

What: Belgium Comes to Jersey City
When: Friday, November 13th through Monday, November 30th
Where: Zeppelin Hall Biergarten at 88 Liberty View Drive
The biggest biergarten in the Metropolitan area is preparing for the ultimate festival celebrating Belgian beer and cuisine. The “Belgium Comes to Jersey City” festival starts Friday and runs through the end of the month. A special Belgian-inspired menu will include a variety of beers, apps, and entrees including a Belgian burger, chicken kip, beef carbonode flamonde, and of course, Belgian waffles and truffles.
