Forget the NCAA. Newport’s Automat Kitchen is now offering a “Mac Madness” menu filled with five mac & cheese specials. The menu will run through through April 5 coinciding with the NCAA tournament. At the end of the tournament, whichever mac & cheese dish sells the most will be permanently added to the menu.
Mac Madness specials include:
- Meatballs Stuffed with Mac & Cheese Parm Sandwich (marinara, mozzarella, and spinach on Balthazar ciabatta)
- BBQ Brisket Mac & Cheese (gorgonzola cheese)
- Pepperoni Pizza Mac & Cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, mascarpone, marinara, and cupped pepperoni over mac & cheese crust)
- Mac & Cheese (elbow macaroni, cheese blen, parmesan crisp, toasted breadcrumbs, scallions, and crema verde)
- Mac & Cheese Sandwich (on ciabatta)
- Vegan Mac & Cheese (penne pasta, vegan cheddar, vegan mozzarella, oat milk, and optional grilled tofu).
Automat Kitchen offers limited indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer takeout and delivery via DoorDash.
