Cangiano’s Jersey City Marketplace is now open at 225 Pavonia Avenue. The store, which originally opened as a sandwich pop-up last fall, is open 7 days a week.
Like any market these days, Cangiano’s is practicing social distancing. That means no more than 10 shoppers are allowed in and you must wear a mask to enter the store. Once inside, you’ll find a wide variety of fresh produce, cold cuts, pasta, coffee, bagels, and Italian pastries.
Toward the back is the market’s in-house butcher shop. Here you’ll find cold cuts as well as whole chickens and different cuts of meat. You can also order a variety of sandwiches. (The sandwich menu will expand in the coming weeks).
