Jollibee Journal Square is officially open. The fast-casual eatery is open daily from 8am to 10pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Jollibee JSQ is only open for takeout and pickup. (You can call your order ahead of time for pickup).

The 3,623 square foot restaurant is located on the plaza level of the Journal Square transportation hub. (There’s also a Jollibee at 393 Danforth Avenue).

Jollibee is often called the McDonald’s of the Philippines. It offers a range of Filipino fast-food like Jolly Spaghetti, Yumburgers, and Palabok Fiesta — a combination of noodles covered in garlic sauce with crushed pork grind, shrimp, and a hard boiled egg.

Jolly Spaghetti is one of the chain’s most popular dishes. Jollibee chefs make it with a sweet-style sauce and then sprinkle it with chunky bits of ham and hotdog.

However, it’s the chain’s Chickenjoy which fans rave about the most. Their fried chicken is hand-battered and known for offering crispy skin and juicy meat. It comes with a side of gravy or oftentimes diners get it with a side of Jolly Spaghetti.

Journal Square’s food options are looking solid these days with the recent opening of Emma’s, the reopening of Journal Square Lounge, Falafel Station, and Burger IM.
