City Hall Jersey CityElection Day is just a few days away. So a reminder, we’re posting the addresses of the Jersey City drop box location. There will be one drop box in each ward and each box will be guarded with 24-hour surveillance. However, you don’t have to live in that ward to use that specific drop box. (You can use any drop box location in Hudson County). That said, here are the Jersey City drop box locations:

Ward A: Public Library at 1841 JFK Blvd.
Ward B: St. Peter’s University
Ward C: Hudson County Plaza
Ward D: North District Police Station
Ward E: City Hall
Ward F: City Hall Annex

Last month, Governor Phil Murphy said all 6.3 million voters in New Jersey would automatically receive a mail-in ballot. (Normally, you’d have to request a mail-in ballot, but given the current pandemic — they will be sent without you requesting one). Once completed, the ballots can be sent back via mail, put in drop boxes, or delivered to poll workers on Election Day. NJ residents will also have the option to vote in person if they desire.

In addition, Governor Murphy has signed a law that allows election officials in the Garden State to begin counting mail-in ballots 10 days before the November 3rd election.

Not registered to vote? You can register online and also track your mail-in ballot. Your mail-in ballot should arrive by October 5 and it must be sent back/postmarked by Nov. 3. (https://nj.gov/state/elections/)
