Six26 Jersey CityThe office of New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal is looking to suspend the liquor licenses of 12 New Jersey bars and restaurants, reports Hudson County View. The establishments allegedly violated executive orders issued by Governor Phil Murphy. Among the 12 restaurants on the list, Six26 in Jersey City faces the strictest punishment.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, Six26 allegedly violated the statewide 10pm curfew and face-cover requirements issued by Governor Murphy. It’s also being cited for exceeding the limit on number of patrons seated at a table, hindering an investigation, and allowing smoking indoors.

Whereas most restaurants face a 10- or 20-day liquor suspension, Six26 is facing an 85-day liquor license suspension if found guilty of violating the rules.

At the start of the pandemic, The Factory Restaurant and Lounge was also cited for refusing adhere to state rules.
