Thai restaurant Kinsen opens on Wayne Street

Kinsen Jersey CityKinsen is a new Thai restaurant located at 80 Wayne Street. The neighborhood restaurant opened in April in the spot that was formerly occupied by Pr&nce.

The low-key eatery offers a mix of curries, noodle dishes, and rice bowls. Prices are based on the protein you choose, which includes chicken, tofu, shrimp, squid, or beef. (Everything is comfortably priced under $20). There are also a variety of salads (mango salad, papaya salad, Thai beef salad) and appetizers like fish balls and summer rolls.

Lunch specials are available till 3:30pm. They include items like a red curry, spicy chili basil bowl, and more. Kinsen is BYOB, but there are a few non-alcoholic drinks on the menu such as Thai ice tea/coffee and Butterfly Pea ice tea.

Kinsen doesn’t have a website, but you can give them a follow on Instagram for a look at specials. They’re open from 12pm till 9:30pm.
