Finding peace in Jersey City just got a little easier. Meta Bodywork is a new wellness center dedicated to healing the mind and body. Located inside the Barrow Mansion at 83 Wayne (Suite 308), the center treats back pain, sports injuries, prenatal/post-natal discomforts, stress relief, and any type of ailment you can imagine.
Owner and founder Meghan Kenny has been practicing in Jersey City since 2017. She first opened Meta Bodywork in January of 2020. However, like many small businesses, Kenny was forced to close at the start of the pandemic. The center finally re-opened in its permanent home at the Barrow Mansion in March of this year.

In addition to traditional massage services, Meta Bodywork also offers what’s known as a sound bath. The 60-minute session uses vibrational therapy instruments (think chimes and tuning forks) to create a relaxing environment allowing clients to meditate and leave the day’s stress behind.
Meta Bodywork is open seven days a week from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 10am to 9pm on weekends.
