Movies in the Park returns for 2023 season — here’s the line up

Outdoor movies return to Jersey City this summer

Riverview ParkGet your picnic blanket ready. Jersey City’s Movies in the Park is back with 17 movies that will be screened outdoors at various city parks. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure or an action-packed blockbuster, Movies in the Park has plenty of options.

The season kicks off Friday (June 9) with Minions: Rise of Gru, which will be screened at Canco Park. Other Movies in the Park locations include Berry Lane Park, Riverview Park, Pershing Field, Bergen Hill Park, and more. Movies scheduled for the 2023 season run the gamut from Frozen 2 to Soul. [Note: The June 9 screening has been postponed due to the city’s poor air quality].

Movies on the Pier by Exchange Place Alliance

The Exchange Place Alliance has also started its Movies on the Pier season. Movies will start at sunset (around 8:30pm) at J. Owen Grundy Pier. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. [Note: The June 9 screening has been cancelled due to poor air quality).
