Get ready, coffee lovers. Signage is up at 398 Manila Avenue, the new home of Hybrid Coffee. Owner and Jersey City native Evan Santiago is in the process of renovating the space after closing Hybrid’s Heights cafe at 110 Cambridge Avenue back in June.

Mi Bandera opens at 408 Central Avenue

New Mexican/Colombian restaurant Mi Bandera is now open in the Heights. The BYOB restaurant has taken over the space formerly occupied by Sabor a Maiz at 408 Central Avenue. Main entrees at Mi Bandera include churrasco, enchiladas, fajitas, birria tacos, and a small selection of pastas. You can see their menu via the Central Avenue SID. Franklin Social kicks off carnival-themed menu

Franklin Social is celebrating summer carnivals with a new/additional menu consisting of carnival-themed bites and cocktail specials. The Fair menu will be available through August 1. You can check out their special menu via Instagram. (You can also check out their Restaurant Week menu here).

Waterfront rental The Beach now 75% leased

Newport’s new luxury rental, The Beach, is now 75% leased, according to developer LeFrak. After just 10 weeks of launching, 75% of the residences have been claimed. According to LeFrak, that makes it the company’s fastest and most successful property to date. Located at 180 River Drive, The Beach offers 336 homes across two residential towers standing 12 and 25 stories tall. Rents start at $2,450/month for a studio.
