Smorg Crushes Hunger is a fundraiser to help combat food insecurity in New Jersey. Enjoy cocktails and food by the waterfront while Smorgasbar donates a portion of sales from the night to the Community Food Bank of NJ.

When: Thursday, September 15 from 6pm to 8pm

The Barrow Mansion is hosting a night of country music with live performances by John Feuerbach, Uncle Jay, and Disaster Party. The event is free and open to all.

Local singer/songwriter Sean Kiely will perform at Fox & Crow tonight. Kiely has released several acclaimed recordings under his own name, in addition to being an in-demand guitarist and singer on the local bluegrass scene and producer for other artists. Admission is $10/pp.

What: 4th Annual Pierfest by Exchange Place Alliance
When: Friday, September 16 from 6pm to 9pm
Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting the 4th annual Pierfest. The event features world-class Latin jazz, dance instruction, and food. It’ll be held every Friday through September 30. Tonight the show will feature Flying South Latin Jazz Trio and Peter Nater Associates.

What: Midnight Market + 902 Brewing
When: Friday, September 16 from 6pm to 12am
Where: 101 Pacific Avenue
Get ready for a night of eats, dance, and drinks. Midnight Market returns to 902 Brewing tonight offering two sessions. Session one ($10/pp) runs from 6pm till 8:30pm and includes access to the brewery, food for sale, live DJ, outdoor games, and more. Session two ($35/pp) run from 9:15pm till midnight and it includes the same, but throws in access to a silent disco (headphone rental included in price).

When: Saturday, September 17 from 11am to 6pm
Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: All About Downtown Food Festival
When: Saturday, September 17 from 12pm to 8pm
Where: from Grove to Coles on Newark Avenue
Jersey City’s biggest food festival is back celebrating its 11th year. Roughly 200 vendors are expected this year. Highlights for 2022 include a reggae party/beer garden from Left Bank, a new Kids’ Zone, a salsa dance party on Grove, and four live music venues.
