What: Korean Eats Pop-Up at The Cottage
When: Fridays & Saturdays from 4pm (through December 19)
Where: 136 Monticello Avenue
The Cottage Jersey City is hosting a Korean food pop-up Fridays and Saturdays through December 19. The event will be held outdoors in the market’s garden and customers will be able to choose from rice bowls, fried chicken, Korean beef, and more.

What: Indie Film Night at Corgi Spirits
When: Friday, December 4 from 6:30pm to 10pm
Where: 1 Distillery Drive
It’s movie night! Corgi Spirits will screen indie film “Fair Haven” from its outdoor patio this evening. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the cast. The outdoor patio permits outdoor food and you can order cocktails from Corgi Spirits. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. The movie summary/plot is: Upon learning of his father’s passing, 35 year old hardcore vocalist, Billy Gregor, abruptly leaves his band in the midst of their European headlining tour, and returns to his home town of Fair Haven, NJ. After reconnecting with old friends and his high school flame, Billy struggles to figure out his identity outside the band.

What: Griot Cafe Soft Reopening
When: Saturday, December 5
Where: 398 Central Avenue
Griot Cafe soft opens today from its new spot at 398 Central Avenue (down the block from their former space). The Afro-Caribbean restaurant offers everything from chicken and waffles to a corn souffle.

Sunday Events

What: Wreath Decorating Class at Barrow Mansion
When: Sunday, December 6 from 2pm to 3pm
Where: 83 Wayne Street
Get into the holiday spirit with the Barrow Mansion’s wreath decorating class. The 45-minute workshop includes a fresh evergreen wreath and a wide selection of traditional decorations and embellishments. Tickets for the socially distanced event (it will be held outdoors in front of the mansion) are $25/pp.

What: Movie Night at Dullboy
When: Sunday, December 6 at 6pm + 8pm
Where: 364 Grove Street
Every Sunday night, Dullboy will be screening a movie in its heated patio. The first showing is at 6pm followed by a second showing at 8pm. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram to find out what movie they’ll show.
